Adding a product is one of the first steps when setting up your store. Follow these instructions to create your product correctly.
Step 1: Go to directory
Open Catalog → Products in the control panel and click the “Add Product” button.
Step 2: Fill in the basic information
- Name — the name of the product that customers will see
- Article (SKU) - internal product code
- Price — the main price of the product
- Old price — if the product is on discount, indicate the price before the discount
- Status — “Active” for publication on the website
Step 3: Add a description
In the "Description" field, write detailed information about the product. Use formatting:
- Headings for sections
- Lists for characteristics
- Highlight for important information
Step 4: Upload photos
In the "Images" section:
- Upload your main photo (it will be on the cover)
- Add additional photos (up to 20 pieces)
- Recommended size: 1000×1000 pixels
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
Step 5: Select a category
Link a product to one or more catalog categories. Categories determine where the product will be displayed on the site.
Step 6: Specify characteristics
Fill in the product characteristics (color, size, weight, etc.). They will help shoppers filter and compare products.
Step 7: Save the product
Click Save. A product will appear in the catalog on the website if its status is “Active”.
Tip: You can clone an existing product so you don't have to fill out all the fields again when adding similar products.
