The appearance of your store affects customer trust and conversion. In ecom.md you can customize the design without programming knowledge.
Basic design elements
Logo and corporate identity
In Site Settings → Global Settings upload:
- Main logo - for the site header (PNG with a transparent background is recommended)
- Mobile logo - for mobile version
- Favicon - small icon for the browser tab (32×32 px)
Site header (Header)
Customize the top of the site:
- Contact phone number
- Links to social networks
- Navigation menu
- Search bar
Home page
Manage your home page content via Design → Blocks:
- Slider — main banner with promotions
- Categories — block with product categories
- Popular products - automatic selection
- Banners - promotional blocks with links
- News - block with the latest news
Footer (bottom)
In Site Settings → Footer Settings add:
- Contact information
- Links to important pages
- Links to social networks
- Information about payment and delivery methods
Content pages
Edit standard pages in the Content section:
- “About us” - information about the company
- “Delivery” – delivery terms
- “Payment” - payment methods
- “Return” – return policy
- “Contacts” - how to contact
Recommendations
- Use high-quality images for banners
- Don’t overload the main page - 5-7 blocks are enough
- Check the appearance of the site on mobile devices
