Correct SEO settings for products and categories help your store receive more visitors from search engines.

Product meta tags

For each product you can set:

Title (Page Title)

  • Displayed in search results and browser tab
  • Optimal length: 50-60 characters
  • Format: “Product Name | Brand | Shop"

Meta Description

  • Displayed under the title in search results
  • Optimal length: 150-160 characters
  • Must contain keywords and call to action

URL (CNC)

  • Automatically generated from the product name
  • Can be edited manually
  • Use Latin alphabet and hyphens

Category meta tags

For each category, configure:

  • Title - “Category - Buy in Store”
  • Description — description of the category assortment
  • H1 - category page title
  • Category text - SEO text at the bottom of the page

SEO templates

Instead of manually setting up each product, use SEO templates (for more details, see the article “SEO Generator Templates”). Templates automatically generate meta tags using formulas.

Images

For SEO optimization of images:

  • Use descriptive file names
  • Fill in alt attributes (image description)
  • Optimize file size (WebP format)

Recommendations

  • Each page must have a unique title and description
  • Use keywords naturally, without spam
  • Check the display of snippets in search results
