Connecting WordPress Integrations

Integration with WordPress means the automatic transfer of all categories and products from the WordPress account to the ECOM admin.

This connection is implemented in 2 steps:

  1. setup at the WordPress admin level
  2. configuration at the ECOM admin level

To configure at the WordPress admin level, you need to implement the following steps:

  1. go to your personal account on WordPress
  2. find the WooCommerce module and select Settings
  3. in the menu at the top select Advanced
  4. A new menu appears below and select REST API
  5. click the *Add key button
    *
  6. indicate name / brief description for the key (where it is used, for understanding; example: ECOM API) in the Description field
  7. select a user in the User field (if there are several)
  8. add full access (Rea/Write) to the Permissions field
  9. click the button "Generate API key"

  10. when generating, the system displays 2 keys: “Consumer key” and “Consumer secret” -> these keys must be copied and saved (then you won’t be able to get them and you will have to do everything again)

This completes the setup in the WordPress admin. Let's move on to the 2nd step of integration. The received data must be added to the ECOM admin:

  1. go to the ECOM admin and find the WordPress Integration module
  2. open and click “+ Add WordPress Integrations”
  3. fill in the data:
    1. Link to API - link of the site from which the data will be transferred (example: https://domen.md/)
    2. Api key - indicate the copied key from the WordPress admin -> "Consumer key"
    3. Api secret - indicate the copied key from the WordPress admin -> "Consumer secret"
    4. Site - indicate for which site the integration is connected
  4. save changes on the page below
  5. to start data transfer, on the same page click the button "Import products"

We expect a complete data transfer that we can see on the Category and Products page.
