To ensure a correct transition on a new site, you must first implement a 301 redirect.
A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect from one URL to another:
- Used when a page or site has permanently changed its address.
- Transfers almost all SEO weight (approximately 90-99%) from the old URL to the new one.
- The user and search robots automatically go to the new address, even if they typed the old one.
To do this, you need to add all the links from the old site in one column in the Excel table and opposite each link, in another column you need to indicate a link to the same product, category or page on the new site. If such a product or category is not located on the new site, the approximate category or home page is indicated.
You must provide links for:
- product pages
- category pages
- information pages
Links to all languages on the site are also provided.
