Product Feeds are automatically generated files with data about your products for placement on external sites.
Why do we need feeds?
Feeds are used for:
- Placing goods on marketplaces
- Launching advertising in Google Shopping
- Publications on price aggregators
- Retargeting on social networks (Facebook, Instagram)
Setting up feeds
Go to Marketing → Product Feeds.
Feed formats
- XML is a standard format for most platforms
- CSV - table format for import
- JSON - for software integrations
Feed content
Each feed includes:
- Product name
- Description
- Price (regular and discounted)
- Link to the product
- Links to photos
- Category
- Availability in stock
- Brand
- Article
Product filtering
Select which products to include in your feed:
- All active products
- Specific categories
- Products with a certain status (in stock, promotion)
- Exclusion of certain products
Automatic update
Feeds are updated automatically. The feed URL can be transferred to an external site - the data will always be up-to-date.
Google Merchant Center
To post on Google Shopping:
- Create a feed in XML format
- Register with Google Merchant Center
- Add your feed URL
- Wait for review and approval
