Product groups: how to link products by characteristics?

STAGE 1

1. We need to select a group of products that we will link. In our case it is “Cărucior sport ultracompact, Joolz Aer+”.

2. Find these products by name in the admin panel.

3. For each product, it is necessary to add the “Color” characteristic and the color itself from the name.

4. When adding a characteristic, you need to check if the color of the product has already been created; if so, then select the already created color)

STAGE 2

1. We need to create a group of related products; to do this, find the “Product groups” tab

2. Click on add and write the name of the model for which we are creating a product group.

3. We indicate below in “Site Characteristics [Images]”, the characteristic itself (in our case, color) if we want different products to be displayed with images.
   If we need a list, we indicate the characteristic in the field “Site characteristics [List]”.
   If we need blocks (buttons) for each characteristic value, indicate the characteristic in the “Site Characteristics [Blocks]” field.

4. Next, in the second tab, you need to select all the products that have this characteristic + are included in the list of those products that we need to link.

5. Save, clear the cache, reload the page and check.
