The shopping cart and checkout page are the final step of the purchase. Correct setup increases conversion and reduces cart abandonment.
Cart settings
Go to Site Settings → Cart to access the settings.
Required fields when registering
Select which fields the buyer must fill out:
- Name – required
- Phone - required (for contact upon request)
- Email - recommended (for sending confirmation)
- Address - upon delivery by courier
- Comment - optional
Shipping types in cart
Configure available delivery types:
- Courier delivery to address
- Pickup from the store/warehouse
- Delivery throughout Chisinau
- Delivery by region
Payment methods in cart
Connect the payment methods that the buyer will see:
- Cash upon receipt
- Online payment by card
- Bank transfer
- Installment/credit
Additional settings
- Minimum order amount - an order cannot be placed for an amount lower than the specified amount
- Text when cart is empty - message when cart is empty
- Text of successful order - message after registration
- Privacy Policy - link to consent to data processing
Conversion optimization
- Minimize the number of required fields
- Add multiple payment methods
- Specify the shipping cost before placing your order
- Enable display of the total amount including delivery
